PPG Protective & Marine Coatings (PPG) has launched SIGMADUR ONE,
a unique single-pack urethane polyester finish coat designed for onboard maintenance applications.

Instead of a typical two-pack finish SIGMADUR ONE comes in one pack, so no mixing is required, thereby reducing mistakes during application, saving time and leading to a faster return to service.

The new product delivers durable performance, ease of use for onboard maintenance and good ship aesthetics. As a user-friendly and hard-wearing urethane polyester finish coat the coating is ideally suitable for decks, deck fittings and superstructures, and can be applied on virtually all ship types during onboard maintenance. It is also compatible with existing aged coatings, easy-to-apply, quick drying, and provides resilient performance, all of which makes SIGMADUR ONE the ideal finish to support crew-members during onboard maintenance.
